The host agreement.

1Who can host

You must run a real business at a real address, and you must have the authority to agree to this on its behalf. One account per business.

2Your address decides your cornr

We place your card on the hexagon your address falls in. That is the whole point: the neighbours who see you can walk to you.

3The perk

• Honour it as written. If it says one free coffee, it means one free coffee.
• No conditions that are not on the card, and no minimum spend you did not mention.
• Once per neighbour. They swipe at your counter while your staff watch.
• If you run out or change your mind, tell us and we will take the card down.

Repeatedly refusing a perk you advertised ends your hosting, and we refund any weeks that have not started.

4What goes on your card

• True claims only. No offers you do not intend to honour.
• Nothing illegal where you trade, and nothing age restricted that we cannot age gate.
• No political campaigning, and nothing that excludes people on grounds anyone would recognise as discrimination.
• Images you own or are licensed to use.

We can refuse or remove a card. If we remove one for a reason that is not your fault, you get that week back.

5What you must not do with neighbours

You see counts, never people. How many neighbours are on your cornr, and how many redeemed. You never see who they are.

6Booking, and how many weeks

• One host per cornr per week. Nobody shares a week with you.
• You can hold up to four weeks at a time.
• You can book again once your final held week has begun, so no single shop locks up a cornr for a season.
• Weeks run Monday to Sunday.

7Paying, cancelling, refunds

Payment is taken when you book, and a week only goes live once it is paid for.

8What we do not promise

We cannot promise how many people will see your card or redeem your perk. Cornr is new, neighbourhoods fill at different speeds, and the number of neighbours on your cornr is shown in your dashboard before you book. Please look at it.

Nothing here is a guarantee of footfall, sales, or return.

9Ending it

• You can stop at any time. Weeks that have not started are refunded.
• We can end hosting for a breach of this agreement, and will say why.
• If we end it for something that is not your fault, unstarted weeks are refunded.

10The dull but necessary part

Cornr is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the previous three months.

You keep ownership of your logo, images and words. You give us permission to show them on your card while your weeks run.

Anything between you and a neighbour who visits your shop is between the two of you.

Governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

11Changes

If we change this agreement we will tell you in your dashboard before it takes effect, and weeks you have already paid for run under the version you accepted.
